“Sowt Media” strengthens its leadership by acquiring “Rising Giants Network” in Dubai

Sowt Media, one of the leaders in producing Arabic audio content, has announced the acquisition of Rising Giants Network (RGN), based in Dubai. This move confirms its intention to enhance and expand the horizons of audio content in both Arabic and English languages.

RGN is known for its innovation in the world of podcasting, bringing exceptional talent and outstanding content that aligns with Sowt Media's vision of enriching Arabic audio content with original and inspiring stories.

Ramsey George Tesdell Co-founder of Sowt Media has welcomed RGN in his team, stressing that this merger is an important turning point in Sowt Media’s journey towards reshaping the Arabic audio landscape.

Basel Anabtawi, CEO and co-founder of RGN, has expressed his excitement about joining Sowt Media. He highlighted the strong alignment between the visions of both companies and their shared passion for creating valuable content. Anabtawi will transition to become a part of Sawt's board of directors.

This acquisition follows Sowt Media's recent acquisition of Dubai-based Fenial Studios, showcasing the company's ongoing commitment to bolstering its portfolio in the audio content industry. The latest acquisition received backing from the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF), although financial details were not disclosed.
