Jahez: Electric cars to deliver food and a plan to move the factory to Saudi Arabia

Hamad AlBakr, business CEO and director of Jahez and founder of the application, said 30 cars were unveiled today as the company launched its first service to deliver orders by electric vehicle.
On the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony, the director of the company, which is listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange, confirmed to Al-Eqtisadiah that the cars were manufactured in Tunisia specifically for Jahez and that there are plans to move the factory to Saudi Arabia in the future.
As for the cost of manufacturing one car, he said that it is appropriate as it is currently close to 50,000 riyals, and he expected it to decrease as the number of cars manufactured increases, especially if the plant is relocated to Saudi Arabia.
CEO Jahez explained that the company has other transportation routes in the future, such as self-driving cars and drones, which will account for 20% by 2028. He concluded that electric vehicles will be a suitable alternative to motorcycles in terms of pollution and accidents and will change the world of applications
