Bahrain's sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat has acquired full ownership of McLaren Group, a British supercar company.

Previously McLaren's largest shareholder, Mumtalakat now holds complete control over McLaren Automotive, the sports car manufacturer, and a majority share in McLaren Racing, the Formula 1 team.

This deal marks a significant milestone in McLaren's transformation journey, allowing them to focus on long-term plans, including investing in new products and technologies.
