The 'Saudia Alaan TV channel is set to debut on the 93rd Saudi National Day on Sept. 23.
Operating under the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), this channel will become the official broadcaster of the Kingdom's primary events and entertainment activities, stated Media Minister Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari.

One of the main objectives of this channel is to showcase the remarkable strides the Kingdom has made towards realizing the Saudi Vision 2030. It will focus on the country's recent achievements mirrored in various events and significant international conventions, as detailed in a statement from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The SPA highlighted the range of these events, noting they cover areas like politics, economy, education, and entertainment.

Al-Dosari emphasized the importance of media in charting Saudi Arabia's growth, pointing out its significance in capturing the dynamic nature of happenings within the Kingdom.

Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, the SBA CEO, confirmed that all preparations for the channel's inauguration have been finalized. He noted a significant increase in events in the Kingdom, with event licenses in 2022 soaring by 367% from the previous year, totaling 5,650.
