The Address Dubai Mall was the celebration venue on Tuesday as winners of the 'Edge Technology Leadership Awards' were unveiled.
The event was a gathering of tech visionaries, pioneers, and innovators.
The awards aimed to honor individuals and entities that have evolved with the ever-changing technological landscape and have also had a hand in molding their future. Its collaboration with GITEX Global led to an assembly of thought leaders, key decision-makers, and tech enthusiasts, all gathered to celebrate remarkable digital milestones.
There were 15 award categories this year, each representing different aspects of the Middle East's vibrant tech scene. They highlighted achievements spanning from emerging startups to seasoned enterprises in areas such as cybersecurity and e-commerce.
Moreover, two unique awards were up for grabs: the 'ICT Innovation Champion' and 'Innovation Catalyst' titles. Jasim Haji, the Chief ICT Officer at Du, received the 'ICT Innovation Champion' award, recognized for his forward-thinking leadership and notable contributions to the UAE's tech and digital transformation journey.
On the other hand, the 'Innovation Catalyst' accolade was awarded to GITEX Global, a prominent tech entity that has been a cornerstone in steering transformation and innovation for over 40 years.
