Arabsat unveils new global content delivery platform

The Arab Satellite Communications Organization, or Arabsat, has unveiled a new platform to simplify global content sharing for TV channels.

The Contribution Platform supports all video formats and networks, allowing TV channels or channel groups to transmit content from their studios to any location globally.

The satellite services provider, headquartered in Riyadh, stated that this innovative platform has the potential to transform broadcasting due to its enhanced compatibility. This will empower broadcasters to easily bypass traditional hurdles, delivering their content to worldwide audiences.

Arabsat's CEO, Al-Hamedi Al-Anezi, mentioned, "Introducing this new service aligns with our unwavering dedication to offering the latest technology to our clientele."

Furthermore, Arabsat declared collaborations with two American firms: TVU Networks, a cloud-based workflow solutions provider, and Zixi, specializing in high-quality live video streaming over IP networks. These alliances aim to ensure that Arabsat offers its customers an impeccable content distribution experience.

Al-Anezi commented, "Engaging with TVU Networks and Zixi allows us to integrate their advanced solutions to enhance our platform's capabilities."
