“Right Calorie” raised $265k during a TV show

Right Calories, a Bahraini startup providing healthy nutrition services with a special focus on balanced meals, has raised an investment of $265,000 during the Beban TV show.
In the very same show, Motolines, an e-commerce platform for automotive parts, has also secured $82,000.
These investments were led by Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund, aiming to accelerate the growth of its portfolio companies into new markets by providing capital and other kinds of consultancy.

The Beban TV show is the region’s first private-public investment platform through its partnerships with the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (UAE), the SME Development Authority (Oman), GFH Capital (KSA), Zain Kuwait, the Sabah Al Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (Kuwait), and the Labor Fund Tamkeen (Bahrain).
