This move aligns with the increasing demand for audio content in the local and regional markets and enriches the diverse offerings of Asharq News Network.

Asharq Podcasts will unveil nine distinct podcast shows spanning business, tech, lifestyle, documentaries, and current events. Featured performances include 'Hona Al Qissa,' spotlighting critical Saudi Arabian discussions through immersive storytelling, 'Behind the Oil' on energy trends, and 'The Story of a Song,' diving into the narratives of celebrated Arabic songs.

Radio Asharq with Bloomberg caters to the Saudi audience, bringing updates on finance, stock markets, business, and more. Its comprehensive morning business news segments, along with exclusive expert interviews, will offer listeners vital business insights for sound decision-making.

SRMG's CEO, Jomana R. Al-Rashid, expressed excitement about the launch, highlighting the 35% surge in regional audio consumption in 2022. She underscored Saudi Arabia's significant podcast listenership, with 23% of its adults being regular consumers. She lauded Thmanyah's accomplishments post its acquisition by SRMG and emphasized Radio Asharq with Bloomberg's unique position as the region's pioneer in Arabic business news coverage.

Nabeel Al-Khatib, Asharq News' General Manager, praised Asharq News Network's exceptional growth over recent years, emphasizing the significance of venturing into the audio sector. The new platforms aim to serve their established audience while capturing new listeners.

Listeners can access Asharq Podcasts on renowned platforms such as Apple Podcast, Spotify, and Anghami. Radio Asharq with Bloomberg broadcasts in Riyadh at 101 MHZ is streamable via the Asharq Business with Bloomberg app and website. Expansion to other Saudi cities will be disclosed in the future.
