Alamiya, a leading Saudi entertainment firm, has revealed its acquisition of Lyra Pictures, emphasizing its continued venture into cinema and media.

Sultan Al-Muheisen, Alamiya's chairman and CEO, emphasized that this merger is not just a transaction but a fusion of Alamiya's deep-rooted expertise with Lyra Pictures' forward-thinking movie development techniques.

Established in the 1970s, Alamiya is the first cinema and TV studio in the Kingdom, set up in response to a burgeoning populace and economy. In light of the earlier cinema prohibition, its recent acquisition of Lyra Pictures is symbolic of Saudi Arabia's flourishing entertainment realm.
