Dubai hosts 210 individuals worth hundreds of Millions and 15 Billionaires

Recent studies show that Dubai now boasts 210 individuals valued at $100 million or more, with predictions suggesting a 78% growth in this figure within a decade.

A report from Henley & Partners ranks Dubai 16th out of 50 cities worldwide for its centi-millionaire population and mentions its 15 billionaires. Mumbai is slightly ahead with 224 centi-millionaires and 27 billionaires, while Russia trails 205 centi-millionaires and 23 billionaires.

US cities lead the pack: New York has the highest number of centi-millionaires (775), while San Francisco surpasses in billionaire count with 69, compared to New York's 62. Los Angeles, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, and Hong Kong also rank high.
Regarding projected growth, Dubai stands out, expected to see a 78% rise in its centi-millionaire population, making it seventh worldwide. Hangzhou in China tops this list with an anticipated 95% increase, with Shenzhen, Delhi, Saudi Arabia, Austin, and Mumbai following.
With its 65 centi-millionaires and nine billionaires, Riyadh is predicted to witness an 85% growth over the next decade, as per Henley & Partners.
The firm highlights that 2/3 of the top 50 cities with substantial centi-millionaire populations have Investment migration programs.
Philippe Amarante, the Dubai chief at Henley & Partners, stressed the global competition to draw such wealthy individuals. While nations like Singapore lead, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are closing the gap. Amarante argues that more than mere financial benefits and investment chances will be necessary. Comprehensive strategies addressing the business, lifestyle, migration, and even charitable aims of these affluent individuals are essential.
